Thread count is a number, not a quality score.
A huge thread count can look impressive on a label and still tell you very little about how the sheet feels, breathes or lasts. Marketing math is not bedtime.
Thread count got promoted from useful detail to full-blown personality trait. Here’s what matters more—and why TLC built sheets around better yarn, smarter details and real-life wash days.
See the five reasons ↓

A huge thread count can look impressive on a label and still tell you very little about how the sheet feels, breathes or lasts. Marketing math is not bedtime.

Some high-thread-count sheets bulk up the number with multi-ply yarns made from rough short-staple cotton, synthetic polyester, or heavy softeners and wrinkle treatments. The label gets louder. The fabric does not necessarily get better.

TLC uses a quality bamboo-cotton blend chosen for softness, breathability and year-round comfort—cool in summer, warm in winter—without the thread-count nonsense.

EasyGrip labeled corner loops show you exactly where each corner goes and give you a sturdy handle as you pull the fitted sheet into place. Hidden pillowcase zips keep pillows neat, and the centered top-sheet logo makes orientation obvious.

Quality yarn and thoughtful construction are designed to withstand 5+ years of weekly washing—because sheets should outlast the number on the packet.
“First, they actually have deep pockets that fit and stay where they belong. The straps make it easy to make my king bed, and they wash beautifully. So soft and extremely comfortable.”Nora, Verified TLC Sleeper
